Simpson Sportive
Sunday 6th September 2026
Harworth, Nottinghamshire, DN11 8JN
After a successful debut event last year, Simpson Sportive is back for 2026.
This year there are three route options: 63km, 100km and 161km (100 miles). Each one explores the quiet, scenic roads of North Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire and South Yorkshire - many of which were part of Tom’s training ground growing up.
All routes start and finish at Harworth & Bircotes Town Hall (DN11 8JN) and are mostly flat, with just a few punchy climbs to keep things interesting.
Your entry also supports the Tom Simpson Memorial Fund.
This ride is open to anyone on any bike.

This 63km loop traces the early training grounds of Tom Simpson through the quiet moors and flowing countryside of Nottinghamshire.

It’s a relaxed and scenic ride that honours the legend, and the legacy, of Tom Simpson.
